Can my speaker get damp/wet?

Yes, your speaker has been designed and tested to be allowed to get wet for an extended period of time. Many interior door parts get damp, so it happens with some vehicle models that a speaker also gets damp/wet. Nevertheless, too much moisture/waterlogging should be avoided, use drip protection systems available as accessories for this purpose. Note that the drainage holes of a door should always be free and the accumulating water can run off. Insulation work or rust prevention using cavity wax can lead to blockages.
